Is it Time to Talk?
Today is Time to Talk Day. Mental health issues affect one in four people in the UK, yet many people feel isolated, ashamed and worthless due to the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health. Time to Talk Day encourages everyone to be more open about mental health – to talk, to listen, to change lives.
Talking about mental health can feel awkward, but it doesn't have to. Try using today as motivation to speak about your feelings, or be available to listen if someone chooses to share their experience with you.
